Vegetables
Our vegetables are grown right here in British Columbia!
Beta carotene, the orange color in a carrot contains an antioxidant that your body converts into vitamin A.
Eating carrots can lower cholesterol levels and improve your eye health.
We sell non-GMO Chilliwack corn from the Sparkes farm. Peaches and Cream, and Jubilee are two popular favorites.
Corn has multiple B vitamins, including B5, B9, B6 and potassium.
Green bell peppers turned fully ripe are red. These ones are the sweetest.
They also contain 11x the amount of beta-carotene (antioxidant), and 1.5x the amount of Vitamin C.
Russian Garlic, grown in the Fraser Valley, contains bioflavonoids and allyl sulfides which are linked to decreased risk of heart disease and certain types of cancer.
It has a milder garlic taste than normal white (and bleached) garlic you find in most grocery stores.
Freshly picked green beans contain vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K
…but even better than that, they’re delicious!
They are easily digestable since they are a low FODMAP food.
